Ahh! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I want to just give each of you a big hug & scream together for a second :) We are absolutely THRILLED to be having a boy! Oh my goodness, SO EXCITING!!!
I loved our whole ultrasound experience. Despite my nervousness for peeing the bed {I didn't - phew!}, it all went so smoothly. We had to wait for a good 25 minutes or more when we got there... can you say ANTSY!? We were trying to distract each other to make the time pass {y'know, milking up the last few minutes of not knowing by saying that everything was a "sign" -- flipping through the magazine and commenting on all the baby boys or girls we saw... hearing Wilson Phillips' "Hold On" overhead, and saying, "Probably a girl - that's a GIRL BAND!" But noting that those were two BOY names... what could it BE!?!? Oooh, the suspense! Winner got a kiss.}
It was funny how we found out, cause she was just rolling the thing around my belly, talking about what was showing on the screen, "There's a leg - you can see the two bones right there... there's an elbow... oh, looks like it's a boy!" -- just thrown right there. I don't know what I was expecting {a live drum-roll? Maybe her teasing us for a second ["Okay... you ready to find out..!?"]}, but regardless, we were taken off-guard and SO HAPPY!!!! Our little BOY is in there!? AAAAHHHH! Such a beautiful moment.
We can't stop talking about how excited we are. Both of us are just giddy with love & enthusiasm for our son to join the fam. We hung his darling little profile-faced-picture on our fridge and it melts my heart every time I glance at it. {Nick's too.} I love that we can now visualize and focus on our baby being a BOY! It makes everything more real & more exciting!
We've felt SO much love & support from family and friends -- it means the world to us! We're so grateful to be surrounded by so many wonderful people.
Can't believe we've already reached the HALF-WAY POINT! This pregnancy is flying by! I'm soaking up every second of feeling his {HIS!} little body move inside of me. Baby boy, you're already making us such proud parents :) XO!

Yes to finding out your having a boy!!! You are looking great as a pregnant gal and I can't wait to see what he looks like and just want you to have him tomorrow! (but not really because that would be bad)
Congratulations!!!!
Awwww-you guys are so wonderful! Can't wait to see the little guy and talk about having little boys because they are so wonderful!!
I am probably more excited for you than you know. My dream is have nothing but boys! (I know...me? The girl who loves clothes and all things girly...but it's true). You will be such a cool mom. Congrats congrats congrats!
I love reading your thoughts on everything! Ah!! I'm just SO HAPPY for you guys!! I totally agree with the pregnancy changing once you know the gender. It's not that you don't love your baby before that, but it feels so much more real to think of them as a person--a girl or a boy-- instead of just this thing growing inside you. It's nice to call it a "him" instead of just an "it", you know? Yay, yay, yay!!!
(I'm also relieved you didn't have an "accident" in there.. ha ha)
AH love it! =) Congrats girlie! I love how you announced it with pics of Nick when he was little. So happy for you guys!! And especially now that you're feeling movements! It's the best thing ever!
I am so excited for you two! I mean three! Ahhh! I was just moseying my way through facebook and found my way to your blog. I love how you write, you are so refreshing. Anyway, congrats just doesn't feel like enough of of word. OH HAPPY DAY!! Yes, much better :)
